As part of an innovative team, we helped the client to realise their aspirations of creating a unique residential development that will become home to a unique community over time. The client have engaged architects Edifice to design this contemporary terraced residential building, that features a unique elevation that appears as a weave, symbolising the woven fabric of social interaction that makes a community. Zoras provided landscape consultancy services of concept and schematic stage.

Zoras’ landscape proposal carries forward the architectural concept to create a terraced roof garden that hosts a variety of amenities and break-out spaces which are all interconnected physically through feature staircases and visually through the introduction of intermediate terracing. The terrace as a whole functions as a linear landscape evolving from a sequence of smaller spaces that respond to the particular amenity they provide but are bound together by a coordinated palette of hard and softscape materials as well as furniture and lighting. Some apartments have private terraces too, these are carefully integrated into the design to provide privacy for its residents.
